For years the old pattern went on. People were jaded by corporate control of so much of their lives, but couldn’t see how they might take some power back. We decided to launch a counterattack. The result is Blackspot, the world’s first open-source brand. Blackspot represents a radical, no-compromise experiment, a total rethinking of capitalism from the ground up.

Customer = participant: The passive consumer becomes an active participant in shaping the social enterprises of the future.

Open-source: Anyone can brand or co-brand their product or service with the blackspot, joining a loose alliance of thousands of other indy blackspotters.

Jujitsu marketing: Blackspotters will go head to head with the dominant companies in their industry, using the power of the world’s biggest brands to drive their success.
